APPLICATION PROCESS:
1. Search for open positions using the portal link above.
2. Complete short app for the Driver by clicking on “Submit Driver Candidate”.
DO NOT put your Driver into the portal until the Driver is ready to do an app with JB Hunt. The short app in the portal provides no protection.
3. Call the Driver into JB Hunt using the number provided once the candidate is submitted. Please note the Application Number.
- Scheduling Number for Company Drivers:
For the time being, please use 479-450-3011 to call in drivers following the instructions below;
1. Create an application AND add the APPLICANT’S phone number to it.
2. Call into 479-450-3011
3. You should get a prompt on the phone. Enter the applicants phone number at that point and it should route you to an onboarder
4. Should you hear a second “high call volume” menu, please press 1 and that will transfer you to the OS queue.
Step 4 – Enter Driver into Driver Management and list the following information in the “Carrier Notes” section;
- Application Number
- Scheduler’s Name
- Date called in
- Time called in
- Job Number
- Job Tier

SAP REQUIREMENT: A DUI in a commercial vehicle after 7/31/2022 will require a SAP.
A DUI in a personal vehicle does not require a SAP but the DUI needs to be outside of 5 years. A license suspended in the last 3 years due to a DWI/DUI will not be considered for the position.
Release links are automated and will be emailed to the driver from JB Hunt directly.

Once you see the driver is scheduled, call the driver to make sure they’ve signed their releases and sent in pictures of their med card and CDL (front and back). Check in after 48-hours to make sure they’ve started their training modules and scheduled their drug test.
